You need not be a resident of the State of UTAH, nor must you first obtain a permit in your home state, in order to qualify and apply.

A UTAH Concealed Handgun Permit is valid in up to 34 states at present.

Various combinations of the Utah Permit + other permits and / or your home state permit if available

can result in a greater number of states covered.

Private and group instruction available.

Course cost is dependent upon group size and location. Unless private instruction is required, course cost is  generally $90 per person; group or organizational discounts are negotiable.

Discount programs are also in place for select groups; please include your username or member # if from a group such as PAFOA, WVCDL, VCDL, SCCC, active duty military / reserves / guard, LEO's or members of the Patriot Guard, as do fund raising programs for sportsman's clubs and conservation groups. PLEASE NOTE: In the timeframe of June 29 thru August 31, 2009 at least 6 states (DE, KS, NE, NV, VA, WV) will be adding or deleting states with which they have reciprocity or offer recognition.

This may affect the "state count" and coverage for the Utah permit as well as other state's permits.

I will update the information on this page once confirmed by UTAH BCI or similar state based sources.

Please EXERCISE CAUTION if traveling to these states or using your UT, FL or other permit for coverage.
